Stephanie Deeds knows Tarrant County! Born and raised in Arlington, I know the area better than most. I am a graduate of Arlington’s Martin High School, and a proud member of the Class of 2004 from Texas A&M University. (Whoop!) I lived in Arlington for many years, and now reside in Mansfield. Since getting my Real Estate License, I have enjoyed working with a variety of clients. I love watching the excitement and anticipation that a first time homebuyer experiences, and being there to help them through what can be a daunting process. I also relish in learning the stories and hearing the life experiences of the empty nesters who are selling the home they have loved living in for decades and looking for a home where they will retire. Growing families, relocations, no matter the circumstance, I will be your go-to-girl when it comes to selling your current home, finding you a new one, and can even work with you to do both at the same time!
I have earned designations as a Certified Luxury Home Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist, as well as an Accredited Buyers’ Representative. I have recently achieved the milestone award of RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame, consistently earned a place in the RE/MAX Executive Club, the 100% Club, and the Platinum Club! This year we should make the Chairman’s Club, which only a few agents in my brokerage have achieved. Just this year I have helped 50 families buy or sell property, and have considered it a privilege to be a part of their family myself for the time we got to work together. I maintain relationships with my clients and am always here to help, even after our transaction together has closed!
John Deeds – Buyer Representative
Meet John Deeds, Buyers Representative and part owner of The Deeds Group at RE/MAX! Prior to entering Residential Real Estate sales, I worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Petroleum Landman, specializing in mineral ownership and title research. I am a Midland, Texas native and graduate of Texas A&M University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness. Since working with my wife to form The Deeds Group in 2015, I have prided myself in my passionate and heartfelt drive to serve my clients’ best interests. I am dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed to finding the perfect home for my clients. My devotion and unparalleled customer service has resulted in a continuously expanding network of loyal clients and referrals. Passionate to my craft, I continuously seeks to stay ahead of the game when it comes to market education and trends. I enjoy spending time with my also Realtor wife Stephanie, son Lane, daughter Aubree, and rambunctious Labrador Jake. In my spare time, you will most likely find me outdoors playing in the pool with my kids, doing yard work or relaxing with the occasional fishing trip.
Kathy Miller – Buyer’s Representative
I have always been fascinated with real estate. As a teen I could be found investigating old buildings to appreciate the architecture and the effects of time on the structure. New construction sites gave me an understanding of what is involved in creating a new home. So it seems logical that I would choose a career as a Realtor. I am a graduate from Temple University with a degree in Psychology, I am very comfortable in the role of being an advocate for my clients. I understand that buying a home is one of the biggest decisions one can make and it can be a stressful experience. I work tirelessly to make the experience educational and fun. I am a great communicator and listener. I believe “there is no such thing as a stupid question” and will educate as well as represent my clients. I especially enjoy working with first time home buyers. It is my mission to introduce this specific group to the real estate process and ensure that they have a positive experience. I believe if their initial experience is great, they will feel comfortable and confident in their decisions regarding their home purchase as I am a Certified Negotiation Specialist. I am assertive and effective without being aggressive. I have an easy- going personality. I am patient and possess a great sense of humor. I believe that a daily laugh or the opportunity to make someone smile contributes to making the world a better place.
Being a native of Pennsylvania, I got here to Texas “as soon as I could” and I have loved every minute of living here. This also gives me a unique perspective in working with relocation clients. There are so many factors involved in deciding to pick up and move cross country that it’s vital to have someone who can relate to the fears and various feelings involved in this huge decision. When I’m not working with Buyers, I love spending time with my dogs. I am a huge animal advocate and I am associated with many rescue organizations. I also love being in nature, hiking and reading
Crystal Britton – Buyer Representative
I am Crystal Britton, a west Texas native from the very small town of Andrews. I moved to the Metroplex over 16 years ago and I just love the area. Prior to real estate I worked in the medical field for 18 years where I was able to be a support for people both providing and needing medical attention. The desire for helping people has always run deep within my veins.
Throughout the years I have always had a passion for real estate, and I am thrilled that I get to work in this unique and fulfilling industry. I enjoy seeing the different styles, features, and personalities of houses, working with buyers through what can be a confusing process and walking them through all the steps, and then the joy on people’s faces when they get the keys to their new home.
When I am not finding a buyer their dream home, I am spending time with my husband of 15 years and raising my 3 beautiful children, Dylan, Austin, and Delaney. Having children, I know the pressures of finding the right neighborhood and schools, but more importantly finding the home that fits all your needs. I am committed to finding that home for you, and we’ll have a little fun while we are at it.
Staci Ward – Director of Operations
I moved to the Metroplex in 2017 from Upstate New York and just love the area. I sure do not miss the snow and bitter cold in New York!! Even after almost 2 years, I still am impressed with how friendly and welcoming everyone is here in Texas. That made it feel like home so quickly! I love exploring new areas and surroundings and finding little gems around in the small towns. I don’t know that I will ever discover ALL the hidden secrets around us, but I sure am having fun finding as many of them as I can.
I have worked in Customer Service for all my life and truly enjoy it. I have experience in mortgage servicing, human resources, training, recruiting, job placement and hiring, IT help desk, and believe it or not, that’s not all. I even had the opportunity to help get a Staffing Agency off the ground and watch it turn into a successful business venture. The common thread that has made me love each of these opportunities is that I love working with people, finding out what makes them happy, and doing everything in my power to give them the best customer experience possible. I have always had a passion for real estate and truly enjoy working the in-betweens of the business and making sure all the transactions go smoothly. No home sale or purchase is the same, every day in this line of work is different, and I have met and worked with some amazing people.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two dogs and two cats! We enjoy taking the dogs out and exploring the Metroplex. I have recently started working with Hearts and Tails of Hope Pet Rescue, and I am passionate about working with pets who need and deserve a good home.
Faith McMas – Marketing Assistant
Steward minded, and action driven. I have spent the last decade working in the service of others. My experience spans from political campaigns to market research. Of all the avenues I have traveled, Real Estate excites me most! I received my bachelor’s degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville is in Business Supervision and Management. I have found my position as Marketing Assistant at The Deeds Group to be engaging and fulfilling. Here I get to be a connector, developer, and executor. Connecting my team members to the resources they need in order to fulfill organization objectives and enrich client relations. In other words, help get them what they need to sell houses, take great care of the people they are working with, and have fun doing it. It has been exciting to be a part of developing plans and techniques to foster client growth and client success and executing the vision of The Deeds Group through an online presence, event coordination, and daily goal fulfillment.
